Write for us
Global Insight Hub welcomes pitches that help general readers understand a specific international connection. Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial question option.
What to pitch
We are interested in explanatory essays, comparisons, background pieces, visual explainers and practical reading guides related to geography, trade, institutions, diplomacy or cross-border issues. Each proposal should have a distinct question and a clear reason it matters to a reader now or over time.
A useful proposal
Tell us the working title, the central point, the intended reader and the main sections or examples you would use. Explain what the piece adds beyond a broad overview. Keep claims proportionate, identify what material would support them, and flag any close affiliations or commercial interests relevant to the subject.
Before sending
We look for plain language, a sound grasp of scope and a subject that can be handled without unsupported claims. Please do not send a finished manuscript unless it has been requested. A proposal is not a guarantee of acceptance, and we may edit accepted work for clarity, length and house style.
Connections are the story.
A map, a rule or a shipment can reveal a wider relationship. We explain the moving parts without pretending one detail tells the whole story.
